Mission Statement

The Port Moody Arts Centre is a non-profit arts organization serving the community for over 15 years, offering more than 300 classes annually, from ceramics and visual arts to music, voice and theatre for all ages and abilities. There are 3 gallery exhibition spaces, where we host approximately 50+ exhibits throughout the year of local to international artists in all media. We also support the Blackberry Artist’s Society, a local artist’s co-op, who showcase the work of local artist’s in the Blackberry Gift Shop located inside the Arts Centre. The Arts Centre also produces events including the Youth Arts Festival and the Wearable Art Awards to engage the community in a variety of art disciplines, from music/theatre/children’s performances to free hands-on art opportunities for audiences of all ages. Girls Night Out has grown into a popular event of comedy by women for women.
