VOLUNTEER TO SUPPORT MENTAL WELLNESS

CVC is proud to be organizing volunteers for the Cottonwood and Connolly Lodges on the Riverview grounds.  The Lodges provide recovery-focused care for residents with severe and persistent mental illness.  The goal of the Volunteer Program is to help residents build confidence and gain skills that will help them become a part of their community.

Check out "A Day of Recovery at Cottonwood Lodge" and contact Cheryl at 604-529-5136 or cvcinfo@volunteerconnections.net to join a team dedicated to the cutting edge of mental health work.

We need volunteers for Fraser Health public health initiatives in the Tri-Cities.

Come volunteer in our…

Volunteers help Public Health Nurses manage Child Health Immunization Clinics (year-round) and Flu Clinics (during flu season).  Immunization clinics protect our most vulnerable citizens from dangerous illness, and reduce the strain on our health care system.

CVC volunteers help public health nurses provide low-income pregnant woman and new mothers with moral support, education on healthy infant care, and nutritious lunches.
