SUPPORTED VOLUNTEERING / VOLUNTEER INTEGRATION PROGRAM
The Volunteer Integration Program helps people with intellectual disabilties volunteer in their community.  If you have an intellectual disability and want to get involved, VIP can ...
    • Help you find a volunteer position that's right for you
    • Help you gain new skills and enhance existing skills
    • Help you meet new people in your community
    • Match you with a Volunteer Partner who can support you while you volunteer

    VIP VOLUNTEER PARTNERS PROGRAM:
When an individual with a developmental disability is interested in volunteering but requires some help to do so, CVC can provide a Volunteer Partner who shares the same the same interest as the volunteer.  A Volunteer Partner is someone who can enrich an individual's life, providing opportunity and accessibility - a positive role model with a positive relationship!

VIP can help you become a leader in building a diverse, inclusive group of volunteers. We provide:

  • The facts about developmental disabilities
  • Practical planning to ensure positive volunteer experiences
  • Training for your staff and volunteers
  • Support for volunteers and organizations
